At the Oxford Brookes Babylab, parents often ask us how they can encourage their children to keep using both of their languages. One of the best ways to encourage this is to provide lots of opportunities to use the languages and make both languages relevant to your child. A fun way to do this is through joining language-specific groups and meeting other families who speak your languages. We have created a list of bilingual groups in Oxford that may help! Please make sure you check the dates, times and locations with each group as these may change over time.
